But buying from within the console charges NO tax, because every Nintendo Switch sold is coincidentally being used in an Oregon zip code. Zero exceptions. It's a geological wonder.
Not to mention various ways to get cheaper eShop credit that can be used...
My own fault for not checking the terms but I just assumed once I pay again they'd recover my saves but no it's actually wiped from their servers. Just so people are aware.
This is the biggest factor preventing me from picking up a switch again.

Is it worth to buy console with bundle game or get console and play games with some membership like xbox (the one he plays now)

So, can I purchase now, turn off auto-renewal, wait for my current membership to expire, and then use this?
Once my membership expires would that still count as "an existing Nintendo Switch Online Membership"?

If you already purchased eShop credit for a better deal then you might be able to use it towards renewing your membership and then this isn't really isn't a deal for you.
Also, I'm going on a tangent here, but I think the pricing on the Expansion Pack is too high.. $80 for a full year? It would be great if they had a monthly option. I already have most of those games for the N64, so I'd be paying $80 to access only a handful of games I don't already have.
Compare the Nintendo Expansion Pack to Xbox Game Pass. One has ports of 25-30 year old games for $80/year. The other has access to hundreds of new and old games, with a constantly expanding library of games that individually cost $10s and even $100s of millions to develop, and Game Pass costs $120/year. Plus Call of Duty games will be coming to Game Pass in 2024.
All this to say, Nintendo is really milking their old IP! I wonder how many Expansion Pack subscribers they actually have
