Initially the link to newegg showed only a $5 coupon with a different # then I click to a different page and came back and it then showed the $9. Paid with Paypal using my Chase Freedom card for 5% back.

I believe It does work for existing subscriptions as there are no restrictions.

This isn't true. This software downloads to the desktop. Mint also owned by intuit marketed to you using your data. New CFPB ruling prohibits using data in this way. Mint is shutting down. All free users of mint are now going to have to find another service. Quicken is most likely the alternative.

No they don't, and hence the subscription fee.

Quicken Classic is a desktop application that you store your data in your PC/Mac locally. It connects to the internet only to download transection history and account balance from financial institutes. Such connection needs frequent maintenance and hence the subscription fee. They do not store or reuse your personal data.

Please make some basic research before making a comment, and do not make comments on things you don't understand.
