I've been riding an EUC for about 2 years. A couple weeks ago, I had the chance to try out a real unicycle. I expect once I learn how to keep my front-back balanced, the skills I already know for side-to-side balancing will help, but that requires more practice.

Good luck learning! I'd love to hear how long it takes to balance on it. Hopefully after an initial learning curve, you'll pick it up faster than a true beginner.
