there is a reason Erythritol products are on sale. A study came out suggesting it's linked to cardiovascular events. So sad... i had stocked up on monkfruit seemed like the perfect substitute.

Anyone know if this is a blend or pure/high monk extract? I like using monkfruit sweeteners for taste, i grew up using them in chinese medicine but a lot of them nowadays seem to be laced w/ a blend of other sweeteners

Monk fruit doesn't taste right to me. Had a canned lemonade with it and it tasted metallic and not really like lemonade.

Erythritol is good and better than real sugar. The research showed it might be bad for some very specific people with pre-existing health conditions which was very rare. Like nuts

Use less of it. If you're using the liquid extract, you only need a few drops.

Thanks, I'm not convinced because it says "has not been proven" and nowhere does it compare it to cane sugar, which is a red flag to me. Interesting read tho.
