No, I've been buying the same deal for years at Newegg. The codes stack and you can turn off auto bill in your office subscription settings.
ESET is highly regarded for IT, I do believe. It is just not heavily advertised like the big boys, Norton, McAfee, etc. Good package deal.

Awesome--Thanks! Been looking for a legit MS Office deal. Also looking for a Adobe Acrobat Pro "reasonable" deal out there? Any suggestions?
I used my son's school email address to get the Adobe student discount. They couldn't verify with the email address, so they had me send proof that has the school name, his name and address. The account is in his name, but I was able to change the email address after his student status was verified

I could do that. How much did it cost in the end? Was this the Pro or standard?
I got the creative cloud suite which includes acrobat. It's on sale now for $150

Thanks, but that's too steep for me! Looking for around the MS Office price point. I have never seen Adobe products have great sales. What's up with that?

ESET is better known in the EU. They have a long history and are a leader in the AV space. They pioneered many of the advanced detection techniques we often take for granted as consumers.

I meant:

It's AV protection is generally worse than the best.

https://www.av-comparatives.org/t...ober-2023/

E.g. 1.8% compromised eset vs 1.2% Microsoft vs 0% Norton over July to October 2023.

98.2% protection rating with 9 compromises.

HARDLY a good deal imo, and thus a Tossaway freebie of no value imo.

And this is simply the past quarter.
Look thru years of data and other av software generally beats eset year in, year out.

Might as well go with free Avast/Avira/Microsoft...

What will this renew at? Does any one know? $35?

NM found this: You'll be charged $20.00 (plus applicable taxes) by Newegg today for the first 12 months of your Microsoft 365 Personal subscription. Activate your subscription at Microsoft365.com/setup. Beginning from the date you activate your subscription, Newegg (acting as an agent of Microsoft Corporation) will automatically charge your payment card $69.99 (plus applicable taxes) every 12 months to continue your subscription. Microsoft Corporation will notify you prior to each renewal, as well as before any price changes. To stop future charges, turn recurring billing off at any time by going to the Services & Subscriptions tab in your Microsoft account (account.microsoft.com). By checking out, you agree to the Automatic Renewal Terms.

FYI - I just loaded my new M365 sub and when you go in to turn off the recurring option it will ask you if you're sure that you want to cancel your subscription, which is very misleading. Click yes to that at the bottom of the page and it will only shut off the recurring subscription option but the subscription you just loaded will remain active through its expiration date

ESET is one of the best AV out there. It uses much lower resources than McAfee and Norton. Just because it's not marketed as much as the other two doesn't make it a throwaway subscription. I've been using it for 8 years on mainly gaming PCs and it's not a resource hog and has great detection.

When I chose 'Paypal' as a payment option this is what I am getting below. Never had any issues using the same payment for hundreds of my previous orders on NewEgg. Is anyone getting this message below as well?

"This method is not available for gift cards, pre-orders, trade-in orders, subscriptions, or Will Call/UPS Pickup.
