I know this isn't a good example but I did this exact deal maybe 2019 and somehow I didn't get charged for installation when I dropped off my car. Was a super slick deal lol
Can this deal be done online or in person. Found some Coopers, but it shows buy 3 get 1 free. The quantity drop list is 1-2. Can't set a value higher then 2.
Tricky black Friday sale. You have to purchase all 4 tires at once, to get the sale.
"Buy 2, Get the 2 Free Instantly on Select Kumho
Tires. Valid on purchase of set of 4 Kumho tires. "
When i search for my tire size, I find some 245/50r20s Kuhmos for $99 each (when there is quantity 4 in the drop-down), bringing my total to $399.98
When I adjust the amount of tires to the quantity of 2, the price adjusts from $100 per tire to $200 per tire. So a set of 2 now becomes the same $399 total.
Fine. Whatever. Before I can fully add these to my cart, they want me to verify my vehicle. Once i enter my vehicle details, that Kuhmo tire no longer exists for my same exact tire size, and doesn't even exist on the website.
I'll pass just because of the extra hassle.

Discounttire, Pepboys, etc have a new software program that allows them to not sell you a tire if the OEM tire load rating is higher than the tire you are wanting to buy. Example RAM 1500 has 2 OEM tire options: 18" with 116 LR and 20" with 113 LR. You want to buy new 18" with 114 LR. They will not sell you the tire claiming its lower LR is not approved by OEM, dangerous even so its still higher than the 20" LR.
Same here. Deal appears to be on just Cooper and Kumho Crugen which are popular tire brands these days. Must include tire installation for $108. Also, road hazard is $78 and if you want wheel alignment (rebalance every 4,000 miles) it's another $100. This might work for some but not for me at this time.
$750? Highway robbery. Walmart had a much better tire deal.
It was going to cost more or the same. 28 bucks per tire to get road hazard at Walmart and an alignment was gonna be extra at another shop. If I did that Walmart deal I'd have to go to two places as they don't do alignments. Pepboys one store.
This was the second Walmart tire deal though, the 125 or so per tire. I missed out on the Reliants.

From what I saw, they downgraded from being an auto parts store - to just service - to just closed.
