Maybe I'm unlucky, but all the gaming logitech mice I've had all started double clicking within a year. That being said they have a 2 year warranty where they will replace your mouse and I've always been able to get it replaced (but 2 of my replacements also started double clicking). Personally I avoid the G line now.

Literally the only device I have in 2023 that use the non usb type c connector, the mouse is great, light and fast but the charging connector is meh straight from 2010, Does Logitech does this on purpose so the next thing it's a "big thing"?

Micro USB (if that is what's being used) is cheaper a good enough for this type of device. USB-C is more expensive and overkill. I wouldn't even consider it better in reliability compared to the micro usb from personal experience.

Are there any mice anymore that do not develop double click problems? I had an old m510 and never had issues. Every mouse I read about now has issues. My current Corsair has it on left and right click.

Food, sweat and human liquids will mess up any switch. Keep the mouse clean and you won't get the issue. Double click issues happens for all mice and not just logitech mice.

Yeah, the Superlight X is better but I think these still use mech switches (as opposed to optical which won't get double click issues). Logitech is good about their warranty but it's still a pain to warranty their mice due to a flawed design that they refused to fix for years. Now you have to pay extra for their optical switches (which Razer has been using for years).

There's a lot of competition in the mouse market so I would avoid this.

This is such a dumb reply. Yeah micro USB still works fine but it's an antiquated cable that most people don't have lying around in 2023. It's all about streamlining, why would you want to drop $70 for a device that needs a micro USB cable at your desk?

These came out 2020, right when everything was transitioning to USB C. Also the reason why these are on sale and the Superlight 2 that just came out that now has USB C is not.

Double clicking on mechanical mouse switches are not avoidable and is not tied to brand of mouse you pick. It's 3-5 bucks to buy replacement switches and solder it on, for 8-10 bucks you can get replacement PCB from Aliexpress with switches of your choosing already soldered.

Buy mouse with optical switches (like superlight 2) if that's too much hassle.

I use the PowerPlay pad so I don't have to deal with the connector. It's pretty convenient to have it continuously charging when it needs it.
