The diameter of the wheel is fine. The possible issue is the width of the hub. The front hub on a typical rim brake 700c road bike is 100mm. I think most MTB are 110 or more. So you would just need to confirm your front and rear hub width and then match up to these or whatever wheels you find.

This is my go to set of wheels for rim brake road bikes. Weight (1900g) and quality/stability are outstanding for commuting and training and they'll work with 7s-12s Shimano cassettes (7-10 w. Spacers). A huge upgrade over basic alexrims wheels and these are good for 23-28mm tires depending on how much clearance your fork has.

You'll often see these as stock wheels on $3000 carbon rim brake road bikes.

You have 2 problems with this set. 1. You have 20 spokes only vs your typical 32 min MTB, it is not for any sort of rough riding. 2. Internal width is 17 mm only, while people will tell you that it is for road bike tires only, it will definitely support wider tires, but 2" is the upper limit. If you ride them with tubes at 40 PSI you will be totally fine. Don't go tubeless (they are tubeless ready) with 2" tires, it will not hold well. Also not sure if you have rim brakes, these don't support disk brakes. 3. If you don't have true axle (15x110) this wheel will fit your front fork just fine (100mm). The rear is 130mm only (road bike spacing) vs regular 135mm (non-true axle) MTB, it is no-go for MTB frame

I got these for the wife's bike when she broke the rear hub while sprinting. They came in straight and well packaged
