For example, if you look the Dell Outlet inventory, you can also find a 16" Inspiron 7000 laptop in Refurbished Like New condition with nice specs for the price: Intel i7-13620 2K 300nits TB4 32GB RAM 2TB SSD and RTX 4060 for $1138 before 18% off Inspiron coupon. As of now they have 3 of these Inspirons, 1 with a better processor with only 1TB SSD. If you change the filters to allow for 16GB, you'll see many options much cheaper and probably even better values such as a 16" QHD OLED 2 in 1 for over $100 less without the GPU, many other 4K OLEDs with other GPUs such as RTX 4050, RTX 2050 and MX550.
In fact I saw some many interesting deals for XPS 13 and 15 models, but those are non upgradable similar to MacBooks. Great deals on not too low amounts of RAM and SSD. Also saw some solid deals for Latitudes, Precision workstations, Vostro and even Alienware although not as big of a savings. I'm sure there may be some better ones than I found if you look hard enough.
I won't be monitoring this but do your own searches and please list some of the good deals found for others. There are many non-deals too, but some good filtering and sorting willl lead to a lot of solid bargains.
Happy Hunting!
Edit: You can call them up and request free expedited shipping if they screw up the estimate. Ended up getting free 3 day shipping.
One thing is there estimated delivery dates may be way off. I saw one estimate a week from now that was immediately changed to two weeks later after the order wass confirmed, so don't depend on those estimates if you need it right away as they recover from BF/CM order volumes.

I found an Alienware R13, which is discontinued. It had a core i9 32 gb ram 1tb ssd and an nvidia 3090. For the exact same price was a r15 with the same specs except it has nvidia 4070 ti. I could not get the coupon to work on my pc. It would work on my phone, but my phone could not make it past the credit card check plug-in. Annoying but I saved a whole lot of money. It is a refurbished computer but it has a discounted 4 year warranty. I do light video editing and my son plays Fortnite.
