How much do you think you will be able to get for it? I'm considering selling my G9 to buy this 😆
I'm selling it for $600.

Don't buy a monitor of this size. Instead by a 4k tv with a high PC refresh rate. Cheaper and less issues. I have had this monitor for a while and I am thinking of dumping it for a LG tv. There are so many issues with ultrawides for gaming it's frustrating.

Me! I got it $1100 from Samsung. It has flickering issues. Customer service at the bottom level was a nightmare. Once I got to a customer service tier 2 they were very helpful and extended my return policy as well as offering another $100 off. It still works and it's been a about 3 months. There will be an occasional flicker of static boxes that will flash around the screen but it happens seldomly and isn't that much of a bother.
How did you get to tier 2? Did you buy the extended warranty?

I'm having the same thoughts about quality. Make sure you buy with a credit card that has extended warranty, just in case (for example chase freedom unlimited).
Can confirm that Samsung customer service is atrocious. The worst I have ever dealt with in any field.

I kept calling and requesting someone other than entry level customer support. It took about two weeks for them to get back to me. They do not sell an extended warranty on these monitors. What they did was offer me $100 off and an extra month on my return window. The thing is so nice and had zero dead pixels and minimal backlight bleed I was worried about getting one that was worse through exchange so I kept this one and gambled. So far so good. Still get the occasional flicker but hasn't failed me yet and I probably have a few hundred hours on it now. It is an awesome immersive experience, but some days I do think it might be just a little too big lol.

Hmm 😒 maybe they should pay for their student loans first instead of buying a $1k monitor.

I had a few dead pixels on mine and tried to return on Samsung and the process was such a nightmare I gave up.

I dont notice the dead pixels really so if I kept with it Im sure I could have made it happen but the customer service for a return is insanely bad.

Not sure if this is a troll or the replies are a troll? The EDU discount requires no verification and its worded to include pretty much everyone (current or former student, parent of a student, spouse of a student). The MIL, GOV, and First responder discounts are the ones that will go through ID.me.

So to answer your question, you get the EDU discount literally by just clicking 'give me EDU discount' and thats it. Check out. Enjoy your monitor.
