As soon as billionaires stop taking private planes to parties I'll consider getting rid of my environmentally-unfriendly conveniences.
I don't like waste and I prefer green options, but when I need to rush out the door and can't make a pour over or espresso the last thing I'm going to do is feel bad about a k-cup.

I have been consuming SF Bay brand K Cups for years and it is biodegradable. The K Cup itself is like a cotton mesh and best of all, the coffee tastes GREAT. They are often on sale on SD and I get them around 30 cents per pod buying in 120 count boxes from amazon. They also carry at Costco for I believe around 33 cents per pod. My favorite is the Fog Chaser and Expresso flavors.
I know environmentalism isn't in the forefront of the average Slickdeals user, but please stop using Kcups. They are such a waste of plastic for each 8 oz cup of coffee. Even the creator of the K cup regrets unleashing these unrecyclable one time use pods on the world. Those old school brewers with a paper filter are really low maintenance as is and will generally taste much better and cost less per cup.

Good point. I actually use this style a lot and agree they work very well. In fact, I found the material they use as both the container and filter to be better at filtering grounds than most typical K-Cup pods.
Bought this brand at Costco - worst coffee ever. Was not a fan. I'm a simple coffee drinker - not a expert coffee flavor guy - by any means. I'll drink Walmart brand, prefer pike or Pete's
