For $400 on sale, the Phillips 3200 or similar has been amazing for me.
Nobody cares if you buy or not

Checked details and exclusions for the friends&family promo and the newsletter; nothing saying they couldn't be stacked. Only "one promo code allowed". Argued the 20% off friends and family is not a promo code and similar to the free shipping.
total was $433.47 for the Creatista Pro before tax.
All that said, it's not exactly a fair comparison. There is no comparison between premium whole beans five days off roast ground seconds before extraction to whatever they put in the pods. If you ran a similar quality bean to what's in a pod with a regular espresso machine you'd be in $0.40/shot territory.
I think your number is way too high. If I buy a 12oz, assuming it's $12/bag, I for sure make way more than 10 shots in an espresso machine. Unless your idea of premium bean is $24/$36 per 12 oz bag.

I've had both Phillips fully automatic and this Nespresso machine. Different strokes for different folks. Nespresso is for people who can't be bothered but want something as close to an espresso shot as they can get without any mess or prep. The fully automatic gets you ... Half decent coffee and not much else. It doesn't do actual espresso and it doesn't do a particularly good cup of coffee either. The grinder is mid and the the pucks it creates don't allow hot water to pass evenly.
My wife uses the Nespresso every day. I use a manual grinder and manual espresso maker now (cafelat robot, 1zpresso jx pro s). The Phillips is in the garbage can, as are 7 other fully automatic machines I've tried over the last 3 years.
At the end of the day Nespresso makes a better cup than most everything until you hit higher end coffee setups, and even you don't agree with my evaluation of Nespresso quality, between prep, cleanup, and maintenance, the time to quality ratio of the Nespresso can't be beat. If the cost per cup doesn't matter to you just get a Nespresso machine like this, froth your steamed almond milk, and be on your way.
