Maybe put that this is the in-warehouse price and that the online price is $20 higher
Anyone considering buying any chair should take some time and actually sit in for a while before buying.

Don't buy something online and waste time assembling it only to find out it doesn't work for your body. Don't be me.

I eventually tried 30+ chairs at various stores before finding a chair that felt marginally comfortable.

People seem to be missing the point that this chair will come with the lifetime Costco warranty. If it only last a year or 2, I will bring it back and get a brand new one.

I admit it is better to see in store. However, the chair I wanted can't be found in store. Did a lot of research and at the end of the day it was a gamble. Love my chair. It's not a gaming chair but a wide seat, so i can criss cross my legs on it. lol

Well, probably your money back rather than a new one. Seems these come around during the holidays, then go away for a while and come back as a new model. Last year's was the "DPS 3D Insight" although it looks almost identical.

Based on all the comments here - Don't listen to any of 'em. Everyone's different (weight, height, build, back issues, etc). You just gotta find a Costco and sit on one and judge for yourself.

If you're into the gaming aesthetic, this is probably the best bang for your buck chair you can get. I bought last year's version and would have kept it if the arm rests were adjustable, but otherwise it was better than everything else I found in the price range, gaming or not.

That being said, if you work from home and sit in a chair 8 hours a day, I recommend investing in a good, ergonomic chair that fits your body. I know this is slickdeals and spending upwards of $1000 on a chair might seem ridiculous, but it will be cheaper than the medical bills when your back is trashed. And you can still get one on a budget if you don't mind getting one used (or new without warranty) from a local office liquidator. There's one near me that always has chairs like the Herman Miller Aeron for $200-300. Many times they look brand new. I settled on a Haworth Zody, new with tags, for $150. Came from a large downtown office that opened a new location and then closed shortly after before anyone moved in. Pretty sure I was told it was a McDonald's corporate office...ironic laugh out loud

I have the previous, nearly identical version of this chair. It's the most comfortable chair I've ever owned, and I'm very picky about my chairs. The lower/mid-back plate have a flexible swivel point that make the chair feel great. I like it so much that I bought a second one for work. The only change I don't like on this new model is that they went from traditional metal posts for extending the headrest to a much more flimsy plastic plate. I haven't had any issues with durability on the old model, and this model is supposed to be more durable due to not using bonded leather.

What stores did you go to to test chairs? I'm in the same situation where two chairs purchased online that get great reviews, don't seem to work for me.

Got it this weekend, black, took a bit over 30 minutes to unbox and put together, seems very solid and well-made especially for the price, comfortable to sit in, nice fake leather. Best computer chair I've had yet but then this is the most I've ever spent on one. Very adjustable, it just feels right, it's a keeper.

We had the staples emerge chairs, and the seats wore out pretty fast, flat as can be. This however is a very comfortable chair. Great price.

This is why I still go to staples for a chair, dozens to sit on. Also once in a while you can find something cheaper in staples than online, I just got a Lexar sdd for 80 not on sale from staples which is $130 online everywhere else.

So which one did you go with in the end?

My back feels great. I use my kid's broken office chair. You do need a 5 pack of wheels which can found at most any hardware store. AS the old wheels break off, remove the stem and slam a new stem with attached wheel back in. Back never felt better.
