Made in Japan for those of you wondering.
Skip these fancy rice makers.. get yourself a Tiger old-school one button unit with flower patterns on it. Got mine as a housewarming gift in 1999. Its older than all my kids, and they are in college. We use it almost daily, cooks rice in 15min compared to much longer for these new fancy ones that play jingles. We tried to replace it 3 different times with fancy Tiger,Zojirushi.. brands, and we go back to the OG every time. Plug in, wash rice once, fill to line of rice/water-line and hit cook. Rice comes out perfect every time!

Wasn't this 59.99 before or that's a different series? It's in my kitchen right now.

Seems like it's missing an attached spatula holder and a retractable power cord, but it's tempting.

I think the old school ones are still made but like $100+ at least, but ya, they last forever. I have one that someone gave us when they moved and looking at the plug, its from the 90s?😂

Just search for basic tiger or zojirushi rice cookers in grey or flower patterns. They arent exactly cheap but probably last longer than the modern ones. Like forever

I had this for 3 years purchased at $80. It was working fine until last month. Costco refunded me in full without receipt. Then I purchased another one in store

Just saw this in store for $69. So save $10 bucks if you pick it up in person. Deal says discount ends on the 17th.

This person is telling the truth. I have a rice cooker from 1995 and it's still going.
