No, they're new. There's no "recertified" text anywhere. Just the original mfg date. Not sure how to post a pic
New here, I read somewhere on WD forum that the WD warranty goes with the drive not the purchaser, so wouldn't WD warranty still hold, of course depends on when it was first sold?
These are enterprise drives so believe it's different. At least in my experience you usually don't get warranty on enterprise unless you are first buyer and bought from authorized distributor.
The Ultrastars used by Backblaze (14 and 16 TB) are tremendously reliable. Furthermore, I've been researching 18 TB HC550s to see what you might be referring to and have used 20 minutes to find no results. What have you heard about this?
Yeah this is the first I've heard they are unreliable. All the data I've found says they are like god tier reliability..

This has 3 year from 3rd party vendor from SPD (ServerPartsDeal means.)
...this is from their website showing same drive marked as NEW with 5 year Manufacture warrenty.
