Christ. This place has turned into a grade school argument site at this point since all the Reddit rejects spilled over.
For someone who didn't see that deal and needs this (like me), this is a good deal. Happy someone posted it regardless of if it was the best deal ever, it's at least the best deal right now.
And how much have SSDs increased since then? Prices have climbed. Even the cheapest 1TB PCIE drives are $45+.

After reading specs and not as good as the black series it's lower energy consumption nvme suits my low energy consuming mini-pc and at 1Tb for 27 bucks for each and WD, good enough for me.
An enclosure will house the internal ssd for usb use. Thanks OP

This same combo was around $40 a month ago. This isn't slick.

Well, this is a deals website. Not a climbing prices website. Strange you are defending higher prices. You do you I guess.
Right, and as of now, this is a deal. Tell us more about how time doesn't matter. In the meantime, I'll keep doing me. FP soon.

Picked these up last deal. Items did arrive at different times. Good for a spare drive since these don't have high tolerances compared to blues and higher. Hard to beat ~$25 per TB. Amazon did bill each drive separately, so there may be the possibility to return the one you don't want if you don't need both.

Depends on how heavily used the PC would be. I would say no if you plan to use this as a primary PC. The drive is only rated at 100 TBW. With constant Windows update being applied and applications being updated, the drive would experience heavier use than if you just used it for a storage drive.

No, it is slow and the TWB is only 80TB.

Are people misunderstanding the initial post. This is $27 per TB.... 2 1 tb drives averaging to ~$27 each
