I got the one with 540 lights, but it was more than $100 more on sale.

I like my Twinkly stuff, but man does their app need an overhaul. My first 600 light set is still going after 4 years outside.
Great deal but I don't think that 435 is enough lights to get a good twinkly effect.

How does mapping work with extra string lights? Easy to set up if I say order 2 x 100 light packs?
It is easy to group multiple twinkly products into a single instance that maps together. I plan on adding lights to the part of the tree that faces the room.

We have 1200 on a 7ft tree, honestly want more! Seems like really low density with only 400ish

I had 3-100 light sets grouped for my back deck. Add to group, map, then go. It was pretty simple.

Have Twinkly strands on both our common area trees. Definitely fewer lights and not a full as I would prefer, but it will suffice for something to put in the main bedroom
You can always add more lights to the tree. You then might want to group then map the grouping.

I have an embarrassing amount of Twinkly products, and this tree actually is pretty decent. I use it as my kids tree. Are you going to be showing GIFs on it? No. But for $149 it's a great secondary tree with all the benefits of changing color schemes.

I have 1600 on a 9 ft balsam hill tree and I literally don't have anywhere else to put them. I have a few unused boxes because it would be more lights than tree

That said, I commented above that this is an excellent secondary tree for the price. I think I paid $119 and I let my kids decorate it and pick the color scheme

I have a tree I got from hobby lobby with 1000 twinkly lights on it and that I think is the minimum. But this price is kinda unbeatable so I got one to give for the kids to enjoy at the grandparents house.

Somebody needs to make better stands for all these pricey ass fake trees. They look so cheesey. Worst part about these trees.
Put your own box under it or a nice skirt. I prefer the minimalist stand as it offers a lot of flexibility.

435 Lights is definitely not enough on a 7.5" tree. Especially if you're buying this because you don't like stringing up lights around the tree or if you're trying to achieve that distinguishable section of lights. My 7.5' Frasier Grande artificial has 900 and I wouldn't go less than that.

With all this talk of number of lights, I had to look up the count on the tree I got from Amazon 2 years ago on clearance, as I think it has the perfect amount of lights- not too little to be sparse, but not too many as to overwhelm the ornaments.
At 6.5' (I have low ceilings) it has 900, double this 7.5 footer.
I would have to agree with everyone else- this has WAY to few, should be 1000.
And no way is the product shot accurate, as that is what my tree looks like at 900.

That's why there's a whole separate market for boxes and collars to cover 'em up:

Look for right after Xmas to pick on up 75% off for next year (that's what I did last year). Or one can easily make their own box.

I have this tree and I feel like the product shot is accurate. It looks pretty good to be honest. For comparison I have a 9' balsam hill with 1600 twinkly lights on 3/4 of the tree (corner.) it's a great deal for a secondary tree IMO.

Well that because you're a maximalist. Not everyone wants a gazillion Christmas decorations in their house lol
