Are they going to charge you even after you cancelled the membership like they used to ? Or are they changing your password, so you can't do nothing again?

Right, can't login with the password used. So can't use it and I assume they will still charge me in 30 days.

I've had movie pass since July and I would not recommend it anymore. They use a credit system and have increased the credits to the point where its actually cheaper to just go see a movie on discounted tuesdays. Some 8ther people might get more use out of it if they live in a place with more expensive tickets..

How many credits are weekend movies now? How many do you get with the $10 sub?

For the lowest tier 10 dollar a month plan you get 34 credits. And looks like for movies showing today its between 23-29 credits a movie depending on the time of day and "demand". So the evening showings are all 27-29 credits. Its 7 dollars a ticket on tuesdays here at amc and like 5 dollars at cinemark.

Yup.

I only use it now to get "discounted" tickets.

I buy the tickets for the next day so I have two tickets for when I need it.

It's against their "rules" but otherwise this thing is useless.

I'm pretty much subscribed bc of the good times it used to be, but otherwise, there's not really a point to actually using this thing.

but it's about time to let it die.

Scam company. I feel pretty fortunate I was able to get my money back from Discover when they originally started this scam.

I would not recommend movie pass even if they paid you to see movies.
The points system sucks which allows for only enough credits for 1 movie from the theaters near me and 1 out of the 2 theaters near me will not accept there credit cards to purchase tickets don't waste your time or money on movie pass

Actually I live between Disney and Universal both theaters here are crazy expensive so much so that even 34 credits a month might not get you a ticket into even 1 movie
This system is absolute garbage in so many ways to Many to list.

It was great when they started the $20 all you can watch.

I pass by 2 regals on the way to work - I bought one ticket almost every weekday for 5 months straight.

I cashed out 10+ tickets and maxed out my regal account.

I got more than what I paid for it.

We were only able to use it a few times before the crap hit the fan and they started putting all kinds of restrictions in. The final straw was when they required me to submit a pic of my driver's license next to my face? When I refused they shut off the cards. They are more than welcome to change their terms, but those weren't what I agreed to when I paid my annual membership. Discover agreed and gave me a refund.
