Use once, yes, like all other escape room games (e.g., Unlock series, EXIT series, Escape the Room, etc).

I wouldn't necessarily call it trash (although our favorites are from the EXIT series). You spend more at Starbucks or Mickey D's for trash food that's done in an instant. This at least provides an hour or more of entertainment.

Yes, it's a one-time-only escape game, but it's < $7. That's pretty cheap entertainment! Reviewers say this is a fun game for family night.

I'd offer a different way of looking at "one use." While you may only play this once, you might just as well give/trade it to someone else, you might donate it to a school fundraising bookfair, you might take it to the park/beach and leave it on a picnic table for another family to come along and discover it, ask a teacher if they know of a kid in need that would benefit from a free imaginative game. My point is only, one play through doesn't necessitate the game end up in the trash immediately.

My family adores this game, and we ended up buying all its variations once we found it. It provides hours of entertainment, all for the cost of a single drink, offering a great screen-free experience.

This clearly says on the box "one time mystery." I think it's hard to hold that against it when it says so on the box.
