Product Details:
- Players vie for control of gem mines, trade routes, and storefronts to master the gem trade and attract the attention of nobles. By accruing more ways to produce gems, players work to accumulate victory points in a race for prestige and power.
- While Splendor is quick to learn it offers a different challenge every time. Collect raw gems in the form of unique poker-like tokens. Use those to acquire cards with mines, boats, caravans and even guild storefronts throughout the world.
- This family and adult card game can be played with 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 10 and up. The average playtime is 30 minutes.

I think this is the lowest price ever for Splendor - which is a great family/kid game.

I should know, I bought it. It is a good game though and not that difficult.
Was a good addition to my less than $15 collection. This holiday season outside of Jaws of the Lion, the picks have been sort of slim.

It's pretty much a themeless abstract where you get colors to get points, which also give you permanent colors so you can get even more points.
Meh.
For me, there are far more interesting engine builders as well as more tactically interesting abstracts out there.
