What an exaggeration. A hacksaw doesn't cost more than the rail, and if you dont have one, maybe you need a few more tools instead of a tool organizer. Lennox is my preference.

Don't be a defeatist. You are as capable as you want to be.
A hacksaw, grinder with cutoff wheel, or a bandsaw would make easy work of it. Anything can be difficult if we want it to be.
It says includes four 36" inch rails

Sounds like a good deal. Unfortunately, all of the 5 star reviews are "Incentivized".

Are these compatible with the HyperTough track stuff they've been clearancing for a while?

Bought on a deal over a yr ago. The work very well for the price. I did screw in some brackets to the track to prevent them from accidentally coming off when pulling items up off the bracket.

Sure if you have tools that cost more than the rail itself you can cut through it, but if you have a bunch of tools laying around you probably aren't putting these up anyway. The point is these rails are steel unlike hypertough or ryobi versions made of plastic. They arent designed for custom install as the person I responded to asked about

Huh? You can buy a sidearm grinder with cutoff wheel for $20 at harbor freight. Else, a cheap hacksaw will do. I would suspect people that DO have a bunch of tools would be using these to organize their stuff.
