I don't even understand this post.
If you don't want to watch Crunchyroll anime through prime video you can connect your amazon account to an existing Crunchyroll account and watch on Crunchyroll instead. I did not know you could do this so I'm putting this out there for anyone else that was clueless as me.
Currently on an MGM+ trial just to watch "From".
Check it out.

Will this add on to my current subscription of Crunchyroll?

I just paid for 3 month sub to Crunchyroll full price this past Saturday Frown
I fail as a slick dealer, didn't even think to check here first.
I just answered my own question. You can change plan. This message shows up when I am about to switch my current $7.99 Crunchyroll subscription to the two months promo rate.

Your current plan will be automatically replaced, ending any free trial or promotion. You will receive a refund for the remaining portion of the current paid month.

Just signed up for CR. Perfect timing since I have exactly $4 in no-rush credit for two months of subscription woot

It used up $1.99 of no-rush credit right after I hit confirm. No order confirmation to verify it being used except that $1.99 is gone from my account's no-rush balance (check https://www.amazon.com/norushcredits)

The $5 credit from the Coca Cola promotion that expires before my no-rush credit did not get applied. I think that can only be used to on Prime video purchases, not channel subscriptions. Ended up using $3.24 from that promo to buy one of the anime that is currently on sale.

I then linked my existing CR account to my Amazon account through instructions here [crunchyroll.com]. My CR account shows as premium now, no need to watch through Amazon.

For fans of raunchy comedies like Superbad, I recommend the MGM+ sub just to check out Bottoms. I paid $5.99 for a month last week just to watch that and it delivered.
Netflix has Thankskilling and Tusk. My point is you can always find a ridiculous movie on any platform. It doesn't mean it's all they offer.
