I don't have pets and Tineco S11 has been working fine on carpets. I'm gonna try this S12 and see if it's better.

Thanks. Just ordered one. Had a Kyvol V20 that I ordered from Amazon 3 years ago. Battery life is quickly depleting on it now, 3 years of use wasn't bad though. This looks like a good replacement for it. Reading reviews, it's comparable to the Dyson V11. Hopefully that's true.

i have this vacuum. works great.

yes, running time on a full battery is low but i suspect it is low with many other similar vacuums. they give you two batteries. we never had to leave our vacuuming unfinished because of depleted batteries. of course this needs a bit of planning on our part (e.g. not to plan to vacuum the entire house in one setting.)
