I am also not wanting anything made in that country you mention, I have traveled, lived and done business in the land of Huang Di, and their is no attempt at crafting anything of quality, especially for export. I picked up on this deal within minutes, Thank you to the OP.

My last two pairs literally said made in China and didn't last long. Timberland quality is gone. Downvote me if you want, it's just a sad fact. They were a go to for years, but I wouldn't touch a pair of Tims now.
