EDIT:

This article is from 2 1/2 years ago. That version is no longer sold.

The featherlight is the 2nd gen version of the mask. No anti-microbial agent is used in this generation.

ALSO:
For those who still trust healthcare institutions over memes, here's what the Mayo Clinic has to say about cloth masks:

https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseas...t-20485449

While cloth masks are effective at preventing the spread of larger respiratory droplets, the Mayo Clinic conducted research in which they pumped aerosolized particles through different masks and found that even cloth masks helped prevent the spread of these much smaller particles.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fca7M5STEA
Breathing in PHMB, the anti-microbial chemical that's imbedded in masks (this one in particular) is detrimental to one's health.. which is why it's so inexpensive (virtually free) and most likely never to be produced again.

I bought these and they are so uncomfortable that I threw them out. The ear loops come up from below your ear and aren't very long so they tug your ears forward and down. Combine that with the thin earloop material and it feels like they'll cut your ears off after a while.
There's a reason they're going for a dollar.
BYW, I bought sizes from medium to XL and they all suck.

Maybe it's the placement of your ears?

I too have used these and don't understand your explanation and how they can pull that way. The earloop material is a bit thin and gets a bit worn-down over time, but they certainly don't pull on ears in the way you have described.

"Non-medical & non-surgical mask, does not protect against viruses"
Same is true for placing your hand over your mouth when you cough, that won't protect you from viruses either. Doesn't mean it doesn't diminish the spread of viruses. I wear a mask when I have a cold/flu/covid/etc. and need to go out of public, if only as a courtesy and to minimize what I put in the air for others to breath. Unfortunately if I'm sick for nearly a week, I probably can't stay home that entire time.

That said, I mostly wear these to scoop kitty litter or for some extra warmth when jogging or riding a bicycle during the winter. Wasn't willing to pay $25 for them but at a dollar each, they're handy.

Anybody with this knows if it's good for running when it's a bit chilly?

Wanted something that was warmer than running barefaced but not as warm as a gaiter
Went out for a walk, and it quickly got quite humid inside this mask. But my face was much warmer. I generate tons of heat though, you may not have the same humidity issue. I measured for sizing, and it fits well and comfortable.

So, it seems like the general consensus is, that you either buy these to warm your face in winter, or to rob a store. I mean, if Walmart can't see your face at Self Checkout, can they really prove that it was you that scanned a banana, instead of a PS5?

That's your take, but for me they're the most comfortable masks I've worn, and I have a box full of masks I've collected since 2020
Yup, that is my take.
