A year or so ago a store was clearancing out the Fruit Loop Glycerin 20s for like $70. Being a dad in his 40s, I thought, WTF, I don't care if someone thinks these shoes look stupid. I hadn't owned Brooks (or any type of nice running shoe before) so I decided to try them at my local Academy. It was like walking on clouds, I couldn't believe it - especially in comparison to my normal Hey Dude no-support shoes.

I picked a pair up and absolutely love them. I have also received a number of compliments on them from a wide age range of people, including some girls in their 20s who struck up a conversation in the airport about them. It felt pretty good.

I struggle to find wide sizes on sale so found this was the best deal at the moment!

I have always thought the adrenaline was basically the gts stability version of the glycerin but now they have a glycerin gts. I also noticed the adrenaline retails for less than the glycerin when it used to be more. Did they change the adrenaline to be a lesser shoe? Is it now like a stability version of the ghost?

I second this. Long time runner (and walker) and I switched to Saucony's about two years ago and haven't looked back.

Adrenaline provides the extra stability that standard ghosts do not.

Glycerins are more cushioned and have a slightly lower drop than the Adrenalines. I prefer Adrenalines for work and standing a lot and glycerin for running.

As far as I know, the Adrenaline has always been the stability version of the Ghost.
