It would be nice to see Class of '81 come down to around $299 as I prefer Ms Pac-Man over Pac-Man. And dammit Tron just won't budge from that $649-$849 price! Missed that Kohl's price mistake last year where people got Tron for $120 - it was supposed to be $120 off, not actually $120!

Specifically the A1Up cabs images you can run on the SFII Deluxe cabinet are : Big Blue, Marvel Vs Capcom, MvC2, Yoga Flame/Shinku Hadoken, X-Men vs Street Fighter.
Galaga Deluxe and Ms. Pac Man Black Edition of the deluxe / non XL size cabs have the same illuminated coin door/panel as the Pac Man XL at Costco which also has the wider/taller cabinet and 19" vs 17" display.
The plain Pac Man and Class of 81' deluxe cabinets do not have illuminated control panels or coin doors.
I personally think going with PacMan for the first XL cabinet was a weird choice, I'd have rather seen them do the MKII or SFII Deluxe cabs in the larger size where the bigger display and control panel area along with a wider stance for a bit more intense play makes more sense. The SFII deluxe cab is already taller than the other Deluxe cabinets I have (Galaga + MKII) and I noticed it has a higher screen than the MKII Deluxe cab which is probably more comfortable for taller players... it's scaled to match the XL size cabs in both overall and control panel / screen height. I don't think mixing XL and deluxe cabs is going to look bad though I wish there wasn't so much overlap in the games list with the Namco launches so far (basically 5 cabs share the same basic list with minor changes between the two running Ms. Pac Man and the others).
Notes on this deal:
**If you buy this cabinet be aware that the joysticks in all variants of this same design (Galaga, Pac Man, Pac Man XL, Class of '81, Ms. Pac Man Black Edition) is really heavy with a ton of pre-travel to engage the heavy microswitches...and often has issues registering directions properly, making it really frustrating to play the Pac Man games well.
You can buy a replacement (genuine Sanwa) with the 4/8 way switchable restrictor plate AND, most importantly, the option to buy the A1Up encoder compatible wire harness (Double 4 Wave 3, 12"). https://www.diyretroarc
The trick is, you have to remove the bottom cover of the control panel to replace this, and due to the cabinet design blocking screwdriver access to the bottom panel of the control panel...doing so is impossible with the cabinet assembled. My advice is to order this joystick/cable and install it on the combined display/control board assembly BEFORE you build the cabinet. I also suggest leaving the bottom cover OFF of this cabinet permanently otherwise you have NO access to the control panel underside for service.
This is the best deal going on a non XL / deluxe version of the "Pac Man" series cabinets from this generation, and has the illuminated coin door + control panel which the Pac Man and Class of '81 deluxe lack. If you can swing it, I'd also grab the $300 Street Fighter IIdeluxe cabinet to go with it while it's only $300, it's a nice mix of games in stock configuration and can be soft modded pretty easily.

That's true about single player. I was being negative and focusing on their greediness.
