Epic Games has Escape Academy (PC Digital Download) for Free.
Thanks community member silcam for sharing this deal
Game Details:
Single Player / Multiplayer / Co-op
Genre: Adventure / Puzzle / Casual
Controller Support
Welcome to Escape Academy. Train to become the ultimate Escapist. Solve Puzzles. Hack Servers. Meet the Faculty. Brew the perfect cup of tea. Escape Rooms in single player or co-op with a friend - local or online!
My brother and I beat this game last week, took us probably 5 sessions of about 1.5 hours. Puzzles are challenging enough that you'll find yourself wanting to use hints, but not so challenging that you'll absolutely need to use them. Fun little game.
There might be a deal for some cheese with your whine.
Was playing this with my friend last night, and today it's free! Now we don't have to do shared play on Steam.
I have no idea what this game is, but I claimed it and threw it into the backlog dungeon anyway

I'm not sure I completely understand all that but I think you are mad that someone posted the deal a few hours before going live? Not sure why it would matter....unless you are one of those people who compulsively comments "first" to every new post thus feel deprived because the the deal was off schedule.
Unrelated, anyone know if you can buy just a F5 key, someone might need a few spares
What they mean to say (but communicated poorly) is that op posted the deal on the game first, but it was based on speculated information, before the deal went live.
I don't think it's at the point where staff should take down the post, but rather comment a disclaimer before it goes live.

So I assume the upset party is seeking credit for the positing because they were first to post a verified deal as opposed to posting scuttlebutt (which turned out accurate)? Make sense-ish however not sure how much the credit is worth at the end of the day.
Also this seems to happen all the time with Humble Bundles, Epic freebees, etc. Many times posted prior to going live with "leaks" as the source. Most of the time they are right but sometimes they are wrong. We probably shouldn't race to post something first just seeking credit, especially if potentially wrong, but I am also not sure this bickering over credit after the fact is useful either.
*I have actually posted a Humble deal or two before that was merged with a leak posted prior. I survive the ordeal intact
How can someone post a deal that is not live based on news in the middle of night, though the deal got live at 8. SD staff has to take action, it's unfair contest. How to contact them?

I played through it earlier this year on Game Pass.
I think it's worth playing! It's not very long and the puzzles are mostly just at the right level that you'll solve them without getting stuck, and feel smart.

Unfair contest?? It's not a contest to post a deal. You don't win a prize for posting it first.

How do you share play a game in steam?
