Since I'm in the Carolinas I have lots of yummy local options, but I will say that it appears that Heinz is not using High Fructose Corn Syrup in their BBQ sauces. At least none on this page.

I have. It's like it says: Sweet and tangy with vinegar. I like it.

If you like vinegar in your BBQ sauce or ketchup, you will probably like this. If not, then not.

Quote from lottathought :
Ya know..that is fair. I just associated Heinz with ketchup..
And it would be correct for an NC sauce to be much less thick than ketchup. In fact, your average SE NC sauce is about the thickness of Italian dressing.

LOL I still think that a good SE NC BBQ sauce in a bottle with Heinz on the label is blasphemy....but I may have to try it.
I suppose it is also possible that a ketchup company has finally seen the light. Big Grin
I am not going to say it is a good NC BBQ sauce but it is a tasty sauce in a pinch to put on things. Though I have used it to make a quick "BBQ" sandwich I usually use it on other things because I like the tang.
