In the book Sinclair recommends taking NMN supplement, now the company he co founded is lobbying the FDA to ban NMN as a supplement so they are the only ones to sell it. What a greedy man.
Here is proven advice for $0. We will all die. What you do (nature) has less to do than what controls your outcome more (nurture) IMHO having been in clinical care for a long time.

Here is what is doable for most:
" Eat the Mediterranean diet
* Avoid processed foods - comes in a box or bag? Don't eat it.
* Eat things that grow in, on or above the ground. Make those half your plate.
* Avoid added sugar in any processed foods (yes, yogurt!) you eat
* Work out. Everything counts! Whatever you can do counts. Try for 5 days per week.
*Avoid alcohol. Wonder why the incidence of colon cancer is so high in both sexes? Breást cancer in women? Prostate cancer in men? Wonder why these are both high in Scandinavian countries? Don't.

There is $400k of medical school for you.

Still a deck of cards.
Looks like a bunch of snake oil to me I'm to believe that this is the only person on the planet that knows how to reverse aging nobody else in the history of man has figured it out yet

These books, along with the entire industry, should be illegal. As someone who has practiced medicine for over two decades, I can assure you without reading, it's garbage and more than likely harmful. As of today, we have zero true understanding of aging let alone how to "prevent' it.

For anyone considering gym, add 25 minutes of sauna to your routine. Do some light yoga while you're in there. Fountain of youth.

Guy recommends vaccines and is friends with Moderna people who make the Covid vax. There's a reason it's 2 bucks.

This. He reportedly made $820 million from the resveratrol scam... and it was a lie all along.
How is he not in jail?
It's actually not a lie. It just isn't a miracle. I take resveratrol as it does slightly help keep my blood pressure under control in addition to my two other meds (verified via continuous monitoring for a week).

With continuous health care data including glucose, most patients can be more informed about their health than a $400k medical school physician who only makes $200k/year on average in the US.

What's your take on the sauna plus niacin protocol?

It's fairly true that so many of these books contain dumb opinions.

For example, a book I actually really like, The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Performance, those authors basically recommend alternatives with sugar and tell readers that their is almost certainly no worse sweetener than sugar. It's since been revealed Trehalose may cause c. Difficile overgrowth in the GI tract, and erythritol, an ingredient in stevia, is linked to heart issues due to making red blood cells "sticky".

There are no simple answers out there.

If you truly want to live longer, you are going to have to embark in a genuine lifestyle transformation. This book and other books are just research material. After you have decided on a diet and supplements, research where people live the longest with a high quality of life. The short answer is although eating wisely is a significant factor in longevity, there are several other habits that contribute to a longer, satisfying life. These regions are called Blue Zones in the world. The researchers break it down to 9 components for living longer:

https://www.bluezones.com/2016/11/power-9/

These 9 components factor in psychological, financial, and environmental areas of study. A person can't expect to live longer by adopting a Mediterranean diet with load of supplements while the lifestyle is an 8+ hour desk job, overworked and stressed, and feeling no sense of purpose.
