I saw a review that said that you should think of it primarily as a roller which you can turn into a backpack when you need in certain areas vs a backpack you occasionally roll, if that makes sense.

Mother load jr vs pro slim weekender for a personal item? I always travel with a carry on rolling luggage that has an osprey daylite packed in it, plus a backpack for my personal item. I ordered the weekender slim in the last deal but I'm wondering if the motherlode jr would be better?

Ended up getting the mother lode dxl instead of the roller since the roller weighed so much more. I used cb site for a extra 15.5% off to offset the shipping. I plan to use this for my longer trips as i already use a smaller 20l backpack for my shorter trips

I ordered from eBags on 12/23. Since then, my credit card was charged, but only a shipping label has been created...the bag has not actually been given to UPS from what I can tell. I emailed them yesterday and did not hear back, so I emailed them again today. I understand they must be busy with the holidays or experiencing some other issue, but you may need to hold shipping dates very loosely.

Purchased yesterday and they say they shipped it. But just a label. I am leaving the 29th and have to have this bag for my trip. Reading a lot of other comments and it sounds like ebags.com is really bad at shipping things in a timely manner.
