FWIW I bought a Xeric watch back in their early, early kickstarter days (and now I feel old because I see that was in 2013). The watch looked GREAT — so many compliments. It's still built in a low-cost manner, so after a few years the watch hands fell off inside the case. They were happy to repair it but then the hands fell off again and it was put to rest in the watch box. I assume/hope the longevity has improved since then, but no doubt these are lookers and you'll love wearing them.

FWIW I bought a Xeric watch back in their early, early kickstarter days (and now I feel old because I see that was in 2013). The watch looked GREAT — so many compliments. They are 100% fashion watches and have the quality to match unfortunately. At least their designs are cooler than other fashion watch brands

thanks OP for posting. The trappist-1 Moon Phase looked exciting and got me to research more. It is a 2017 model and there are complaints of date getting changed or the view window of the date being small. Also it seems it isn't that luminous.

In 2019, they launched trappist-1 Nasa edition which is currently $172.5 (final price in cart) which has much more positive comments & more luminous in dark and has a cleaner watch face since there aren't grills blocking the beautiful watch face. I know is all about the preference but thats just me throwing my 2 cents.

I ended up buying the Trappist-1 Nasa edition!
