I use both. Disposable makes sense for long duration items, like a TV remote or a wall clock. Also, some electronics require a voltage higher than eneloop's 1.2V. Anything that will discharge within a month and can handle the voltage, like headphones, I use eneloop.
Invest in eneloops instead of keep wasting money on alkalines. Iv been using them since when they were owned by Sanyo and every single one still works great.
