Not a deal if you're protecting anything of value. Consider this a cosmetic deterrent at best.

What lock is good at this price range?

This is probably good enough for the gym, for those of us with cheap clothes :-)

It's all about what it's for. I use it for my side fence. Anyone could just as easily jump over. There's nothing of real value in the backyard, just don't want those random criminals who look for unlocked cars and gates to come in. I've already caught a few checking the lock on my camera and walking away in the middle of the night.

There's really nothing good on the market for this price. But like you said, it's probably fine for the gym if you don't have high value items in the locker.

If you want a solid lock, for $40 you can get the Abus Diskus 20/70 which is recommended by LPL. But I realize $40 is a little pricey.

This is pretty much what I'm thinking.

Is it more secure if we break the key inside?
