Thanks, OP! In-store pickup only.

I tend to not be as responsible as I'd like with pre-workout by either taking it at home on an empty stomach and making myself feel sick and/or having it then not working out due to that so I'll try mixing this at the gym.

I would try making your own so you can dial in the balance of feeling sick/being LOCKED IN

I've been making my own pre workout for the last 1+ year now. Just recently I took a serving of my 2 years ago Optimum nutrition pre workout that I had perhaps gotten at Costco. The effect was dramatic which made me wonder if there ingredients that I got off Bulk Supplements and Nutricost have the ingredients that they claim to have.

I got Taurine, L Citrulline, Beta Alanine, 200 mg caffeine tablets, Anhydrous betaine, Choline, Carnitine, Arginine; and I mix all of if these together is amounts excess of the 300 mg or 500 mg that they usually suggest. Despite that I never get that feeling of the pump that I got from the optimum nutrition concoction.

Perhaps the bulk supplement industry just supply white powder for everything and with no regulation there is no way to know what you are ingesting is really the ingredient that you ordered or just 90% fillers.

I just found this in a store further away and ordered it along with Total War pre workout and something called Pride pre workout.

My post was in response to your suggestion. I'm making my own everyday but just the one time during the Christmas break when I had something in my stock from 2 years ago has changed perspective.

I used to do that several years ago since I tried to avoid caffeine, but I've found the convenience and possibly economics of this product to be better.

I just need to dial better into what causes me to have a bad pre-workout experience. It could partially be due to my typical fasting throughout the day. Some days I can take this on an empty stomach and it's fine and other days I feel sick. I've been eating more often before my workouts so this should be okay if I have it with a meal. 🤞

The Kaged Muscle products are claimed to be among the most accurate and natural in the industry. They use patented versions of ingredients to create what should be a high-quality pre-workout. That's one of the reasons I only use this brand. There are some ingredients I wish this had that other pre-workouts are using, which those brands unfortunately then cover with artificial colors and ingredients, but it's a solid formulation.

Yes, I thought I'll give it a try since it's very cheap and because of my good recent experience with the ON product in my pantry for the last 2 years. The homemade pre workout should work wonders for a lower price but I'm now skeptical of the purity and efficacy of the bulk supplement and Nutricost products across the board.

Careful with the white powders. Easy to mix up.
