I have some boots from them. Been wearing them for two years nearly every day in the cold season. Sole is soft and doesn't look like it will break soon. It's a different model though, so who knows.
From what I recall, Doc Martens were sold to a different (Chinese?) company.

I think the OG company still makes similar boots in England under the Solovair brand name.
I forgot the YouTuber names but he's boot enthusiast who cut open a bunch of Doc Martin boots and compared it to the boots before the corp buy out and found that predecessors were far superior in build quality and durability. Any time a company that's known for it's quality get bought by these mba's they always manage to turn it to shit, never realizing the major buying factor for the brand was the quality. And then they start losing money, forcing them to to cut even more costs and perpetuates the cycle till the company goes bankrupt or gets bought out again.

This information is a lot more helpful than I can describe. Thanks a lot.

Rose Anvil cut them (Dr, Martens) in half on youtube and it was determined that these are shadow of former glory. Now they are cheap junk, but very much worth $48. Buy Solovair if you think about more long term value.

Didn't know Doc Martens were still a thing. I remember my sisters going nuts over them many moons ago.
They are apparently back. I have seen them on the '' fashionable" youths lately.

Dunno about fashionable, but I noticed our Amazon driver wearing a set. I recognized the tag on the back and asked if they were Docs. She said I dunno, it's what we were given by work.

I'm not sure where you would wear those in combat.
For wearing during fierce combat over the last pair of skinny jeans in the bi-curious section of Target.

That's with just about every quality name brand that exists nowadays. Craftsman is a great example (among hundreds.)

I bought these through this deal and they arrived yesterday. They are significantly different (lower quality) than other Doc Martens I own. I seriously wondered at first if they were even authentic, they are so cheap and creak with every step. Extremely uncomfortable and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy these.
