How do you get this to work if you only keep it for 4 months?
Thought it's a 24 Month Bill credit?

"Get reimbursed over 24 months
Receive $27.09 off each bill for 24 months
The credit is tied to the person who activated the device"

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm new to Google Fi deals!
I can only see 250 off offer. Existing customer.
My account is only showing 250 off

I'd like to find out how to make sure they start charging on the first of the month and not get screwed extra. Google Fi states billing cycle begins two days after activation. If I activate on the 30th of this month, how can I avoid them skipping to the next month? I've known hpham_53 posts from previous years and think he might be able to help. Experts please.

This thread is huge so I am going to ask this question. Can you activate your account to get the countdown started, pull the Fi SIM after a few days and through it in a drawer while still paying the 80 dollars over the 120 days. Then install a different carrier's SIM. Will this void the discount that was given by Fi on the S24+?

Just a few comments:
* Google has some weird rules about billing start date if you activate within the last few days of the month. I can't find that information right now. If I'm not mistaken, if you activate on the 28th to 31st, then your billing starts on the 2nd. If that's correct, then that actually will benefit you because you'll get more than 2 free days to complete 120 days before the 5th billing cycle starts.
* What are you wanting to activate? If you're choosing the best time to activate your S24 then it's a moot point because the instant discount offer requries you to activate the S24 on an existing line, and billing for that line is already on-going.

* Yes, you can activate the S24 pSIM then pull the SIM after a few days and stash it away. Do NOT use that Fi SIM in another phone. If you pull the Fi SIM, uninstall the Fi app after activation so it won't keep nagging you to put the Fi SIM back in.
* It will be more than 80 dollars for 120 days. With taxes & fees, the typical monthly bill for the $20 Flex plan is around $26-$28. Some of the fees are fixed amounts "per line" so they skewed the percentages. For some locations in TX, it could be up to $30/month with taxes and fees.

Anyone activated and has the 120 days countdown started? Mine still says activate the device within 50 days. Previous experience it was instant

I did and it still shows that 50 days of activation is needed but it will take overnight when they update. Clearly says on the top.... update every day.

Got my black S24U. I can confirm that it still ships with a physical sim.
I'm using Mint mobile esim + Fi physical sim.

At this time you should have an eSIM or pSIM active on some other phone and should have canceled order/shipment of the S24 device. Meaning you have an active Fi account but have already used the new customer offer of $xxx off for 24 months for the device order you canceled. Now you need to wait a day (mostly overnight) and check next day morning on what offer shows up on your account. It should show the Instant off discount if you followed the steps correctly.

It won't show the same day when you cancel the first order. You have to wait for Fi systems to check your eligibility and it takes a day. So check tomorrow. All the best.
Hi thank u for replying. I had an account that had the promotion for 24 months, I didn't do the pSIM part. Is it why I'm not getting the deal? That account I was a Google Fi customer like a year ago. Thank u

so you don't have an active line with Fi? I would say that's why you are not getting the instant off offer as it's only for existing customers and in their records you haven't activated service yet.

Should I activate service on that account or create the new account and do the steps I saw? Thank you 😊

Consider selling your S22U. I sell phones to resellers like WeCellTrade.com , ItsWorthMore, Trademore, etc. As long as the phone meets the stated conditions, they'll pay the quoted price. They'll provide a free shipping label to ship the phone to them. Right now, WeCellTrade offers $350 for an Unlocked 128GB S22U in Good condition, and $392 for one in Flawless condition. https://wecelltrade.com/product/s...2-ultra-5g [wecelltrade.com] . You probably can get more by selling on Ebay, or Swappa, but I hate dealing with flake individual buyers.
Do you think its better to select flawless with these resellers and let them deny you. Will they just give you the good price or send it back?

Also , is there any way a phone used for a year is "flawless" ?

Most of the time I selected Flawless because the phones that I was selling were either brand-new or activated then put back into the box (like my Fi phones). The only time they downgraded my phone was when I sent in a refurbished iPhone XR. It looked Very Good to me but they rated it as Good because they said there were some fine scratches in one corner of the screen. Since the price reduction was only $10, I didn't argue with them.

If you're very careful with your phone, use a case and screen protector from day 1, use one of those silicone plugs to protect the USB port from dust/lint, etc. then you can rate it as Flawless. If they don't agree, they can downgrade it or send it back if you don't like the lower price.

Read the T&C of how to get the discounted phone closely... it's even outlined in the name of the thread.
