Gift cards cannot, but trade credit can. I have been doing it as recently as this week. I have about $100 in credit I have been bleeding off little by little

The reality is that while neither Gamestop nor Best Buy had it in stock by me every Walmart had 1-2 copies. I turned about $32 into a bit over $70 in Gamestop funny money, which allowed me to order the new Prince Of Persia game for shipping while at the last store as the free shipping threshold is only $25 if you order something in store.

99% of the time I go to gamestop the employees are helpful and chill. Obviously the company sucks, but who cares if I win in the end every time I go there. About 40% off steam gift cards after the trade in is a win for me and gamestop will be carrying a bunch of MLB games which is their problem now.

Exactly! People like you and me with BRAIN would only go to GS when there 100% incentives for ourselves hence this deal.
