Lowest price ever for this product on amazon!

This Yale lock with key-free touchscreen has a 37% discount

You can use this product with an app (for remote lock/unlock), although you will need a z-wave compatible hub to use this feature.

Some users like this z-wave product better as it's more energy efficient and requires fewer battery changes compared to the wifi version.

Worth noting that you are not buying this from Amazon. It's shipping from a third party seller.
I have the Zigbee module in mine connected to Hubitat and I can give these Yale Assure locks two thumbs up. Have a lever version on the front door and deadbolt on the back. Not once has there ever been any sort of hiccup. 100% uptime (except changing batteries) and zero errors in two years. I just wish all smart home products worked this week. If they did we all would be automating our houses.
Huh? There are many hubs that this can work with. Plus I don't know how anybody could trust Eufy ever again after the bs they pulled.

While this is a good discount but at this price point I would expect it should have fingerprint/Apple key support as well.

Sounds like you need a better smart home ecosystem. This could be triggered in numerous ways.

The post says it can be used with an app. Doesn't say which app. I don't think Yale has one for this. I have this lock and use it with HA. Solid so far.

Using this exact lock for 5 years now - has 2 of them now. Batteries are lasting ~8 months. Works flawlessly. No keyhole - no lickpicking. Just in case I keep the emergency battery somewhere on the porch to charge it if it will go low battery without me noticing (I'll need to ignore multiple alerts for that)

Quote from KevoD :
Picked up 3 of these 2 years ago when Lowe's had them for $50. Requires the August app and you have to buy a hub separately to make it "smart" (ie Alexa integration), which I didn't realize until after I got home and set them up. Kind of annoying since the hubs ended up costing more than the locks.

They were fine locks, but I just replaced them last month with Eufy fingerprint locks that don't require additional costly hardware to integrate with my smart home system. I also grew tired of the touchscreen. It is way more cumbersome than actual buttons or fingerprint scan.

At this price, I wouldn't recommend. I can't even offload these on Facebook marketplace.

Huh? There are many hubs that this can work with. Plus I don't know how anybody could trust Eufy ever again after the bs they pulled.

My stats: I've had a total of 6 Yale locks over the past 6 years (3 x YRD210 ZigBee and 3 x B1L Z-Wave). One ZigBee failed last year (half of the keypad stopped working, though it was still remote-controllable), and was replaced it with Z-Wave B1L. One spare, the rest 4 are working fine with Home Assistant. HA sends me notifications when the battery level drops below 65% (and I think they stop responding around 50-55%), so I proactively replace the batteries.

As a side note, B1L's were on Woot for $50 during the BF sale in Nov 2023 (I even posted a deal), so $145 doesn't sound like a slick deal to me. Sorry OP Smilie

I have these and the batteries die too fast which is annoying. They last roughly 6 months for us. It also malfunctioned a few times in the last 2 years that we've had it. If i could choose again, I'd have went with trying something else.
