I recommend this over m18 fuel version. Lighter but less vibration with power.

I went for 18v and then realized it doesn't fit into a lot of places when remodeling my house. Wish I'd gotten a smaller one. Same goes for the reciprocating saw I got-- a small one would be way more useful.

I am a fan of both Milwaukee and Dewalt, I even have a couple ryobi tools. The dewalt version of this that goes on sale a lot for $99 with a battery and charger, is a way better tool. Even my milwaukee fanboy contractor friend agrees. The reason is that the dewalt has a variable speed trigger. If you look at these, they have a dial you have to move to adjust speed; a huge pain. Now if you are into the m12 line up go for it. Milwaukees m12 lineup is the best out there. Dewalt seems to not focus on that lineup as much as their 20v.

Buy this if you need to fit in small places. Get the Makita newest one if you using it daily. Dewalt will give you wrist pain when you get old.
Makita has 60-70% less vibrations than the M12 allowing to do more precise and straight cutting. M12 is nice because it's compact and a bit less vibrations than the M18 and notorious Dewalt.
I own the Makita and M12. I borrowed the Dewalt and won't be touching that one again.
