Nice price, but needs more bells and whistles. This is like a grandma range, very basic.

I don't know about a grandma range, but you're right about it needing more. A supposed $1000 range doesn't have convection? I'd like to upgrade eventually, but my old-ass gas Caloric, that literally did belong to my grandma, still works great and doesn't look toooo dated. So I'm being picky, waiting until I'm in the mood and see just the right deal. Same for a dishwasher - my 30 year-old Kitchenaid with a dial and mechanical buttons just won't die. These make me want to spend though, because they were fairly high-end when new (early 90's, LOL), and have held up amazingly well.

I'm seeing $699. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, but it isn't fancy, and for $699 I have a lot of other options, many of which offer a bit more.

Shows $699 after $290 off so not sure where you see $500. $200 Costco shopping card is on top, but tax will be on $699, not $499.
