hmm rather small dimensions as a dough board. no easy way to figure out how much shippinhg is.

That's why I bought these. Kitchen pre remodel only had 30" total of counter so one of these is doubling my countertop space haha

I'm taking everything in stages so we have barely no downtime while remodeling, have only had one day so far where we couldn't use the sink or stove

Of the wood cutting boards I have, I prefer my end grain and bamboo ones. They seem to be a little more tolerant of moisture changes. If you do wash or wipe these down, make sure to not leave it in standing water as stated by OP. I had one that family members would wash down and then leave to dry but sometimes in such a way as to leave one side pressed down against the counter, and it would screw up the whole board and have it swell on the wet/down side.

Full or half sheet of half-inch plywood ripped to 24 inches will give you all the workspace you need until you actually get countertops, I went through the same thing a couple years ago and worth the expense.
