With the prevalence of batch variations, bogus history of the house, multiple changes in ownership in recent years, and over a decade of market saturation...

Maybe just get mont blanc explorer or club de nuit intense man. Or any one of the other dozens of clones. Or even wait for the absolu clones to start flowing.

Still have my decant from 2013, but at this point, meh.
This is the truth right here.

I fully support buying the original fragrance over clones.. but Aventus (and Creed) has gotten ridiculous over the years. With recent batches having terrible longevity and the price only going up.. club de nuit is like $25. Splurge and spend twice that for the Pure Parfum. There are so many clones that smell close enough, but last longer and are 1/10 the price, that it's hard to justify the original.

Dudes just can't get enough of this scent though. It's a must have, 11/10 fragrance to most men, but I haven't really met any women who love it. It's what some call a "boxer dropper"
This lasts as long as a tinder date

Just get a clone for $30-$40 and call it a day.

There are a ton of YouTube videos putting Aventus up again other popular fragrances like Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel and YSL Y.

Creed usually wins with the women, so idk about that. I usually get compliments when I wear CDNIM limited edition if you want anecdotal evidence lol.

I don't know, the first video that pulled up for me had Sausage getting the win with 8 votes,YSL Y in 2nd with 5 and Aventus in last with 1 vote!

With that said though: wear whatever you like. I'm not big on Aventus but most dudes seem to love it. I'd take Sausage Elixir over it any day.. or if you want to keep the Aventus DNA, something like "Prince" by Luxodor which is a nice mix of Aventus and Baccarat Rouge 540

Just got the Himalaya from Costco as well. Not sure what to do. Really want this too but it's too much spend in too little time.

My guy, if you dropping $200+ on perfume, you can't seriously be complaining about a $15 dollar difference. I'm only on here because I am awe that people are willing to drop thus much on subpar product that you can buy clones of and literally smell nearly indistinguishable.

Purchased this fragrance due to hype and reviews; did not like it. It's very strong and overwhelming, I prefer something subtle. Couldn't even wash it off my skin.
