They have been on sale for $50-60 in the past, I think they're trying to pump the brand adoption up, get everyone into the ecosystem. They had their chainsaw for $50 for a little bit on sale, but I didn't manage to grab one and I'm kicking myself.
We bought a string trimmer, it's really nice, a lot nicer than the old 10-yr old ones we had kicking around lol! It's kinda heavy though. I'm considering buying a sling or something so I don't have to carry all that weight on my forearms.

How long does the battery last before you need to recharge?
When I bought it last time came unopened in the original box

Mine was also new factory sealed.

Also the cutting width is pretty small and you can't run more than 4 inches of string before hitting the guard (which can't be removed)
