We got this and the plastic underneath started to burn.. DO NOT BUY
I bought this from Costco and regretted the purchase. Not easy to clean. It is definitely not smokeless. If you cook any meats the fat will drip down onto the heating elements causing it to smoke.
I like to keep things clean, so using this unit creates a mess in the "nonstick" baskets and in the unit. I was scrubbing away on the baskets for too long for a unit that is supposed to be convenient. And having to remove to much animal fat that dripped into the unit so it doesn't end up smelling rancid is annoying. My air fryer doesn't have either of these issues.
The only thing I found easy to keep clean was the lid. It is removable and can be scrubbed and rinsed quickly.
Everything this unit does can be accomplished with an air fryer, roasting pan, or a frying pan/cast iron/griddle with much quicker clean up.
It feels like a gimmick but for those who enjoy it, good for you. I wouldn't buy it for $20.
Wonder if Teflon was using for trays or baskets

I got this a few months ago, and it's been really handy. It gets hot quite quickly so it cooks really fast, very useful when we have guests over and I quickly want to throw together fries or burgers or wings

You just need a second unit placed next to the air vents running air fry mode.
Smokeless mode blows air out, while air fry mode sucks air in.
