As one commenter said, no doubt it's loud. It's less of an issue for me as I'm using it to power the house in an emergency (I live in Florida) so I'm more worried about just having power.
Would I want it for a tailgate or working a project outside? Probably not.
Does its job. Starts, runs, powers. I think I paid $200 more a couple years ago.
If I could do it over again I'd probably buy a name branded generator and convert to natural gas.
If you're looking for something out of the box natural gas ready I couldn't find anything even remotely close to this price.
If you're not going to use natural gas I'm sure there's better and quieter options out there.
Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase.
