This is more a backpack than a sling really. At least I always feel slings are smaller since they're typically crossbody.

Incorrect. A backpack has both shoulder straps and can go behind your back without being slanted, just straight up. This is a sling because it has a single strap, and has to be crossover from one shoulder to another if worn at back, and slanted. Hence, aka sling back. For a sling, you can have relatively larger size now, but too large defeats it's purpose of being a sling. So, most are not that large so as they wouldbe uncomfortable for a sling. I feel this size is max a sling should be.

I do eyeballing. The way you wanna do that is to look at the picture that has average size model holding or displaying the bag with respect to his body. So, I can see it's not big at all, especially its narrow which should be the case for sling or crossovers.

And, I found this, "fits up to 13" laptop." So, basically, it's 13" long and probably no more than 8" at width (by eyeballing). So, it's not large at all, will barely fit anything especially because of its padded liners.

Yeah, I have a 13" that I use for traveling, so this looks perfect if the dimensions aren't too crazy

Amazon's AI response says 10.5"x14.5"x4" but I don't know how accurate that is.

Adidas makes a backpack sized sling, so I'm just hoping it's not that

13" is diagonal screen size I assume, so the length of the laptop would be less than that

That measurement might be little higher than I can see in picture where the guy is holding the bag on his shoulder. It looks quite narrow. You just have to zoom each and every picture to get an idea. I could be wrong with my eyeballing technique.

I have one Adidas crossover/sling I got recently from Kohls for $18. And it's a size that will hold 13" lap and its measurementsare quite high for a sling but I am happy with it. But a sling shouldn't be any larger than what this adidas has (link below) as it would be awkward and clumsy for a single strap.

You might wanna compare enlarged picture of this one with the following adidas known measurements to see how they compare and Guage the size of the one here on woot. And see if that helps

Yeah, that Adidas sling is what I was hoping it wouldn't be as that's basically a backpack in sling form. (Holds 16" laptop, but might as well just use a backpack for better support)

Just got the PDP in today. My worst case measurements are 18"x11"x5". The inner sleeve perfectly fits my 13" laptop and just barely doesn't fit my 15.6" in the main pocket. It's bigger than my normal sling, but it's looking like a good in-between size that can hopefully maximize the personal-item restriction on flights
