Say what you will about Ryobi, this thing is awesome. I took apart an entire humvee with this thing and it never had an issue. I still have a smaller one though because this is pretty heavy.

Is this one much better than P262?

I have both. Both are good for almost any job, but this one is way heavier and larger. The p262 struggled with an axle bolt, but got it eventually. It has not been enough for some rusty nuts

I got this last year in November for $134.91 with 2x 4AH HP batteries.

Thing is a beast.

The Ridgid is appealing since it has the Lifetime Warranty versus 3 years with Ryobi. You have to decide if it is worth the extra $20.

Hey Guys, I posted this deal after not seeing a post about it. Later I saw my post was relegated to a comment and my post was removed. Could someone let me know what happened?

Got it, thanks. I did search before posting and didn't see this item. Guess no matter, as long as others got a deal.

I'm personally waiting for a deal on the mid torque brushless model. If you feel like the brushed model will suffice for your needs (it probably does for a majority of home DIYers), it's currently on sale at $99 with a 4aH battery and charger

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../320033027

The mid torque was ~$40ish tool only a month or so ago at dto

I figure if my old 3 speed 1/2 ryobi did crank bolts, subframe and wheels the the new brushless mid would do even better since the rating is higher.

I really don't need the big heavy high torque. I just want it haha. And I have the m12 3/8 stubby.

This is decent deal since 2 4ah is probably worth 80 bucks itself. Even more if they're the hp versions.

Damn wish I knew about the mid torque deal. I would've committed at that price for sure.

The weight difference between the mid and high torque is about 1.5lbs. Nothing major but seems like enough difference if I'm working around the car for an extended time. I'd definitely sell the batteries too if I bought this deal

What smaller 1/2 impact wrench would you recommend?

Sorry, didn't see this until now.

I just bought another Ryobi, I just got the basic $99 one but right now it's more:

Your friend has shared a link to a Home Depot product they think you would be interested in seeing.

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../320033027

As with anything, wait until there's a deal, I got this for $99 with another tool or battery, I forget.

Thanks for the link. I got that one for $100, but no extra battery or tool.

The P262 is a good companion impact for this. It's much lighter, smaller, and so will fit into places this wrench can't. Not to mention you can get a used or blemished P262 for very little.
However, this impact has WAY more power than the P262 which is incredibly useful for suspension stuff, rusty stuff, or even just using an impact with extenders (wobbly, etc) , since those reduce your actual torque by not insignificant fractions when used.

You're being downvoted (not by me) because from a perspective of torque, it's not even a question. This impact is better by a mile, and there are plenty of online reviews to show that. (Torque Test Channel, etc)

If you factor weight, size, and price into the equation vs what jobs an individual person needs to get done, one or the other may be "better" for the task at hand. However, you can always get both. The P262 can be picked up pretty cheap, especially when used.
