Quarter pound counting both patties. This is usually $2.99 in my region.
These are not bad. Certainly worth it for 1.99
Sonic is the Kmart of fast food around here. Every time I go there I wonder what the hell happened

Is that 2 1/4 patties, or do the two patties equal a quarter pound? I did a quick look on their page, but didn't see any specifics.

If there're 2 1/4 lbs. You can imagine they definitely would call it half lb burger.

After seeing the ads for this, I actually felt my heart sink after I opened up the wrapper and saw the product. How can a burger be so disgusting? I give it a shot and the patties come out pitch black around the edges, light grey in the middle. I didn't get sick or anything, but the taste was just as revolting as the look. How does sonic mess up burgers?

Why is this now front page? They've been advertising this deal on TV for 3 weeks.

McDonald's regular patties are 1/8 lb. The only other patty is a quarter pound patty and it's called a quarter pounder or a double quarter pounder

Pretty much any time I get what I've ordered at a restaurant, my thought is, did I get my money's worth, and is it going to be enough to satisfy my hunger? Presentation and taste are lesser priorities, as long as it's not raw. What you describe sounds good to me. For $2 I would happily eat it in a minute or two, be thankful, and move on.

I've read that those "regular patties" are actually 1/10lb, or 1.6oz each. So two in a Big Mac still isn't quite the same amount as the Quarter Pounder.

Saw this deal and got one from the location at Edison, NJ. It was pretty good in taste and size, better than McD or Burger King, but don't expect a Shake Shack quality though. They also got my burger customization correct as I crossed out ketchup and pickle, but added tomato and lettuce. The burgers in McD and Burger King always came up like they were rolled over by something.
