Wouldn't 1080p look bad (i.e., fuzzy, pixelated, etc.) on a 27" screen?

Yes. Need at least 1440p if you go with 27".

That's what I thought. But I'm curious if anyone feels otherwise from personal experience.

Yea, but its still like a common size and resolution that people use. Esp for gaming where often times people care more about framerate than resolution.

I run two 27" which are both 1080p for my work dual screen set up. Never ever thought "fuzzy" or "pixelated".

Though, anytime I see monitor deals discussed, seems like I'm in a very very tiny tiny minority of people who sincerely can't discern anything "better". I don't want higher resolution per se, I want things to look BIGGER and just need more overall "space" to work with i.e. spreadsheets, audio editing, etc.

I think it can be discerned that there is a difference at any given screen size of 27 in or above, but it's completely wise to ask what is that margin in my preference and cost comparison?

I think 24in. is perfect for 1080p gaming, and I don't think there is nearly as large of a difference at 27in. between 1080p and 1440p, something I also see suggested frequently on these threads.

Good take my friend, gotta get em noodling on those assumptions.

I have a 27" 4k monitor, and I can definitely tell the difference between 1080p and 4k on it. I guess it depends on how far from the screen you're sitting, pixel size/density, etc.
